Company-Wide Safety

At Conomos, we have a company-wide belief that safety is the result of dedicated effort and education. Our comprehensive safety program underscores this conviction. Our programs, implemented on all projects, provide detailed procedures necessary to meet rigid safety standards. Safety has its own reward because a successful safety program lowers the overall costs to our customer. The Conomos Handbook and Safety Guidelines manual, given to each employee, outlines the basic policy on safety. It details disciplinary action from reprimand to termination for specific violations.

Worker Training

Implementing how-to's and don't do's is a continuing effort. Workers need to know why safety is so important, not only for their own well-being, but for the well-being of the company. We train, we inform and we re-train. Good teaching leads directly to good safety practice.
Safety awareness is a repetitive task at Conomos. Being alert creates confidence on the job, and that means safer, more productive work.

Environmental Protection / Abatement / Worker Protection

One of the most critical aspects of our business is protecting our environment. The hazardous materials associated with our projects, particularly lead and asbestos, take on strategic importance.

At Conomos, we have developed the programs, trained the personnel and created the expertise to deal competently with abatement. Specialized containment, surface preparation, waste disposal, and ventilation procedures are utilized to ensure that all government regulations are strictly observed.
