In Business Since 1898

The application of protective coatings continues to advance to new levels of sophistication. Today the contractor must be alert and ready to handle the latest methods of surface preparation and coatings application, worker safety and protection, plus environmental concerns.

The Conomos painting tradition began in 1898 when John B. Conomos was pioneering structural steel painting. The personal and business integrity that he developed has been tenaciously defended through the years. At Conomos we have produced a spotless record of responsible performance that has met schedule requirements without compromising quality for any reason. This heritage reinforces the Conomos philosophy of service, value, dependability, and satisfaction.

Conomos performed all of the painting on the Cooper River Bridge (Ravennel Bridge) in Charleston for me a few years back and I highly recommend their firm. They did an excellent job for us on an extremely difficult project and have proven to be a most reputable and fair company.

I have enjoyed, very much, my work relationship with Conomos over the last 3 years. The guys have been great to work with. I have to admit that working with Chris Yohe and crew this year has been nothing buy a joy.
